Table top - acryl glass with diffusor tunnel for gradient background

A gradient background  from white in front to darker or black in background can be made by shadowing  the far end of the white acryl glass plate and the diffusor tunnel with a black cloth.  The area behind the specimen is then mostly in the dark.
gradient
Principal setup for a gradient background. Some lights are swiched of for better visibility. This kind of background needs individual fine tuning which is best made by either life-view on the computer sceen or with test pictures. There are many  variations possible, if a semitransparent acryl glass sheet is used and a colour foil is placed  between glass plate and acryl glass plate. A balanced backlight from below controls the light effect.
stelleit_BW

red to black
A red to black gradient is possible with a semitransparent acryl glass plate with a color foil below plus a balanced back light.
